The Jack Fuse electronic break glass can be used as a direct KAC break glass replacement using the same fixings or even the existing green base.
The supplied EBG base has mounting holes that match both the original KAC (and many other brands of emergency door release) mounting holes. This allows the entire KAC break glass and base to be removed and replaced with the lower profile Electronic Break Glass using the existing fixings.
If the existing breakglass base has cable entries from the side, installers may choose to leave the base in place and use the supplied screws to attach the EBG on top. Alternatively, the base can be swapped for the EBG-MB-C mounting box, which is colour-matched to the EBG-C.
The flexible mounting options make it a simiple task to upgrade from a KAC or other legacy break glass unit to a modern, more secure and better looking Jack Fuse Electronic Break Glass.
