Our first-ever entry to the awards, this innovative emergency door release improves security outcomes and looks great. Two factors that have helped the Electronic Break Glass gain fantastic early adoption and success in the industry.
The EBG solves a problem every security and building manager has dealt with. An activated break-glass leads to a costly manual reset and compromises building security. The Electronic Break Glass can be automatically and/or remotely reset without needing to attend the door. In auto mode, it is possible to reset the EBG with no operator intervention whatsoever!
Designing a new product for the security industry, from concept to market, is a complex and demanding task. It is amazing to receive recognition after all the hard work.
The Electronic Break Glass was our first customer-facing project. This came with a whole host of new design challenges but also an opportunity to create a more aesthetically pleasing and functional product.
A big shout-out and thank you to the team at Paraform Industrial Design, who took some (extremely poor) sketches and helped create the best-looking emergency door release housing on the market.
